118368This week’s Top 5 Wednesday takes place on the second day of my week off from work. I highlight that because I have no plans for this week off, and I have just realised it as I write this. Yes, Emma and I have grand plans for this weekend that involve flat pack furniture and Strictly (I know, I know, you’re all jealous), but we would have had that off together anyway this week, so I have started to wonder why I took this week off work at all. I shouldn’t really complain, a week off work is always nice, but I kind of feel like I am wasting it! Anyway, less of the moaning and more of the reading…

BOBToday, Jade and I said goodbye to Sydney and drove to the Blue Mountains. Lots of driving and walking have severly reduced potential reading time. Bout of Books 13 – Declaring my intentions

bobheader2Bout of Books is back, and I am excited. The last time I completed the Bout of Books readathon, I was an English Teacher in Thailand. Things have changed. I now call the back of a camper van in Australia home as Jade and I drive the long distance from Cairns to Sydney.

What hasn’t changed? I still love reading, and Bout of  Books.

Friday Reads – January 23rd

I’ve decided to involve myself in yet another book-blogging community – Friday reads.

For those of you who don’t know anything about Friday reads, or are just a tad forgetful, it is an internet meme/initiative that gets people talking about the books/poems/graphic novels etc. they plan to read over the upcoming weekend, and week if they feel so inclined. My ability to stick to a week-long TBR and not procrastinate or read something else is not great, so I think a weekend long aim is more manageable.
