#TheReadingQuest: Wrap Up

What a readathon, eh? I am absolutely gutted that this readathon is over. I loved the premise, the execution, the thought, and the fact it was getting me to read new books and new genres. I hate the fact that I didn’t dedicate enough time to this readathon, that I didn’t complete as many challenges as I would like, and that it finished before it could even really get going.

Friday Reads: Holiday TBR

Holidays are coming…Holidays are coming….I have holiday fever and I’m not afraid to let it show. I’ve had a difficult couple of months with one thing or another, and have been looking forward to this holiday for a little while now, so I’m glad it’s finally here!! And with a holiday comes time, enjoyment, excitement, and holiday reads. I am still taking part in #TheReadingQuest, so my holiday reads are to tie in with this. #TheReadingQuest: Progress Updates

Last week I signed up and started #TheReadingQuest (my sign up post can be found here). I committed to taking part in the readathon over the next month, and after a week have realised that I need a post to keep track of my progress! There is a set of rules, challenges, and scoring systems that can be found on #TheReadingQuest sign up post, and also on my original TBR post. So, in an effort to take part and track my progress, I’m creating a master post to track my scores throughout this readathon.

Friday Reads: #TheReadingQuest goes Rogue

Afternoon one and all. It’s Friday, already, have you got that Friday feeling? What is the Friday feeling (I genuinely don’t really get it, maybe it’s because i work some weekends)? How is everyone? I’m back in work full time out of training now, and even though I’m still struggling with the after effects of the crash I feel more like myself. And these readathons (namely Tome Topple, #TheReadingQuest, and Bout of Books) are helping me along. Not being able to drive is annoying, yes, but it means I now sit waiting for and on trains for over an hour a day, so it has opened a nice guaranteed reading time for me to crack on with.
