The 140 character book review – An Introduction

A few weeks ago I read an article that summarised the Disney Pixar movies in 140 characters, or a tweet for those who are technologically unchallenged. (You can find the article here.) This made me think, why not do something similar yourself?! I have been reading a lot more over the past few months, and decided a while back that I wanted to review the books I read in some way to practice writing and to collect my thoughts so I actually had, and retained, an opinion on what I had finished. TBR? What TBR?

Guys, I am in complete denial that I ever decided to try and keep up to date with a TBR whilst travelling. It was a bit of a lost cause from the beginning really, let’s be honest. Not that I haven’t been reading, I’ve shifted through the pages on the long bus journeys, it’s just they weren’t really the books I planned to read. September TBR (and a vague August Haul re-cap)

So last week’s TBR went absolutely atrociously. I got no reading done (well, about 35 pages of The Perks of Being a Wallflower.) I did have a successful read-a-thon, however, so let’s take a glass half full approach and look for the positives. Clearly setting the target was good for me, I just had a lot on last week, and wasn’t very well, never productive reading circumstances.
