T5W: Freebie – Magical Items

This week, after a world of wind and snow and busy work days, it’s nice to think about all things freebie and all things magical. There are no topic ideas or restraints on this week’s prompt, other than to go crazy with your own thoughts and ideas. I decided to have a look back through the Top 5 Wednesday Archives for topics that I liked but never got the chance to do. There are lots as it turns out, so I think over the coming months I may do this more often if that week’s topic doesn’t suit me!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books You Like But Don’t Remember

Hello Hello, how are we all? This year is disappearing as fast as I can blink I tell you! I always used to wonder why adults used to say time goes quicker when you’re older but I swear it actually does! Anyway, yes, Top Ten Tuesday, well, it sort of goes hand in hand with what’s said, because as time passes, we forget details and stories that we liked when we discovered them!

The lovely folks at Broke and Bookish teamed together to create this awesome weekly prompt, which is now hosted by the wonderful Jana @ The Artsy Reader Girl. T5W: Books featuring Witches

It’s October. It’s getting cold. The leaves are falling. The weather is turning. The nights are getting darker. Fall is definitely here. Hallowe’en is creeping into the shops as fast as Christmas is. So this theme, books containing witches, could not really come at a much better time, could it? I love this time of year, in fact, it’s probably my favourite time of year. I’m a huge fan of the October/November/December period.

Top Ten Tuesday: Book Cover Freebie

When you think about buying a new book, and you aren’t sure about what book you’re actually going to buy, a book cover plays a huge part in actually making that choice. I do love a shiny bright cover as much as the next guy. I also love a clever cover, or a new take on a classic. As you can tell, this is an awesome topic for me, so I have taken it and ran with it.
