I wrote yesterday that I am ahead of this Bout of Books, and while this is technically true, I feel woefully behind on my pages read v pages left to read ratio. 269 pages wasn’t bad, but I have 5 lessons today, rather than the 2 of yesterday. Hopefully, I won’t spend as long completing the challenge(s) as yesterday.

The 140 character book review – An Introduction

Guys, I am in complete denial that I ever decided to try and keep up to date with a TBR whilst travelling. It was a bit of a lost cause from the beginning really, let’s be honest. Not that I haven’t been reading, I’ve shifted through the pages on the long bus journeys, it’s just they weren’t really the books I planned to read. Roi-Et: Home Sweet Home?
Roi-Et is a city located in Roi-Et province in the North-East region of Thailand more commonly known as Issan. It’s situated nearish the Laos and Cambodian borders, and is a fairly big city within the area. It has an airport and a river, shopping malls and a cineplex. It’s not Bangkok, but it has everything you could need. We have our own little Bungalow a couple of miles outside of the hustle and bustle of the city centre. It has A/C, it’s detached, it’s located right by Jade’s school.
Sounds perfect, right? Continue reading “Roi-Et: Home Sweet Home?”
