Chicago: The Windy City

For those of you who have followed my blog for a while, you may have seen a previous entry for the Windy city way back when I was traveling the world for a year (found here). I loved Chicago on my first visit, it’s safe to say that I feel in love with the place back then, so when I found out that everyone would join up to celebrate for a big finale together in Chicago, I was extremely excited.

Friday Favourites: Favourite North American Destinations

A fortnight ago I posted all about my favourite cities in Europe, and so this week, I decided to go a little bit further away from home and write about my favourite places in North America.

After a 57 hour train journey, a mile and half long walk, and a trapped nerve in the neck, there is no better sight than a posh, swanky hostel. And Chicago did not disappoint. The hostel was potentially the nicest place we have stayed, including the hotel in Vegas (actually maybe not, I’m not sure). The free WiFi, free pool and Table Tennis, free breakfast, free tea and coffee all day, free events that result in meeting some cool musicians and bloggers. Chicago, you were pretty awesome!
