Fat Friday: Week 33/34

I’m back folks, I am back. For the first time since I’ve been doing this thing I missed a week. I have been really struggling with blogging of late, and last weekend I was a bit under the weather and just didn’t get around to posting. This week hasn’t been that much better really if I am telling the truth, so this will be a short one.

Margaret River

IMG_7463Margaret River is a large wine region South of Perth and is one of the premier wine producing areas of Australia. As one of the main things to do in the region, and to get all 6 of us out of the flat for a couple of days, we set off to complete a wine tour and a quick stop drive down the highlights of the coastline. Happy Birthday Jade!

This week has been full of firsts and lasts, and has revitalised us in time for the Christmas week. It’s Jade’s 23rd Birthday today – Happy Birthday. I’d say have a great day, but you’ve spent the weekend with me, so I know it’s been awesome. It’s really capped off an interesting week, and has led us into a bizarre one with a spring in our step. Massages, Jellyfish, Buckets, and Hats

I have really enjoyed Cambodia, but I was absolutely ready to leave Phnom Penh. I never felt like it was quite safe at any point, there was a lot of rubbish and noise, and it just wasn’t really for me. I am not usually much of a beach person (I am paranoid that my milky white skin that loves to be bright red but frazzle in the sun) but I was ready to relax in Sihanoukville. I have loved how much we have done on the tour so far, but a couple of days to relax and explore at a more leisurely pace is very much welcome.
