D’you know what is better than doing two readathons at once? Yep, you guessed it, adding another one into the mix. I am a huge MCU fan, and Avengers Endgame has been something that I have been looking forward to for literally years. We’re booked to go and see it already, so I was excited when I saw an Avengers themed readathon to celebrate and knew I had to take part.
I know, I know, three readathons at once seems a bit excessive, but OWLs is something I love, and Tome Topple is helping me battle some of the bigger reads I am attempting at the moment. Tome Topple and OWLs are due to finish on April 26th and April 30th respectively, so there will be plenty of time between now and the end of the month to focus my reading for those readathons and hope other books I read fit for Avengers challenges, and then use the remaining two weeks of Avengers Readathon to have fun with the remaining challenges.
So what is it, when is it running, what’s the low down? Well, it’a actually already begun and I am embarrassingly late to the party with my sign up post. I have been reading for this readathon already, but if you fancy joining us two, here is the info:
- Hosted by The Perks of Being Noura
- There are 18 different S.H.I.E.L.D assignment. Each designed after an Avengers character.
- Each challenge has different prompts.
- Readathon starts April 14 to May 14
- You can choose to do any of the challenges (maximum 2) (challenges can be found here)
- All books are included (audiobooks, ebooks, fanfiction, graphic novels, comics, etc)
- Post your TBR using the hashtag #Avengersreadathon19 (on twitter, blogs, instagram)
Challenges/TBR
The hardest thing about this readathon was narrowing down the assignments. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of me narrowed this down by challenges, however, I was left with some of my least favourite characters and didn’t want to pursue those just for the sake of it. I ended up compromising on people I liked AND challenges I could complete/fit with OWLs and Tome Topple. I know myself well enough to know that this will change throughout the readathon, but I always feels better setting out a TBR at this stage of the day. As I progress through the readathon, I’ll post updates to show my progress, which challenges I have completed and are still yet to do, and what I have read and thought of those books.

SOOOO…..I think I might have been a little ambitious with this one, because that is what I am like and I can’t help myself. I have a few days off dotted through this readathon, and there is a mixture of length books so I should be able to blast through a few of them to get to the end of the readathon if I need to? I will definitely probably end up swapping out books here and there as I change my mind, but that’s a readathon with Liz for you! Are you ready?
Are you taking part in Avengers Readathon 2019?
What assignments have you decided to complete?
What books will you be reading
Thanks for joining! your TBR is epic and I really hope you enjoy! ❤
