I know, I know, it’s March and I am only just getting around to writing a January wrap post. In my defence, I was immersed in read and seeing friends and I kinda forgot that I hadn’t done one until I started to write one for February. Yes, I could probably have linked them together in one, but I didn’t and so here we are, over a month late. It’s a shame really, because I took part in Bout of Books and 24in48 readathon and actually managed to read a lot of books that covered a lot of challenges and broadened my horizons some what.
I have already posted my wrap for February, which you can check out here!
In January, I read 13 books amounting to 3507 pages, including 1 re-read (marked by *).
I read 12 fiction books and 1 non-fiction book, a mix of YA, Contemporary, Romance, New Adult, Fantasy, Mental Wellness, Comics/Graphic Novels, Dystopian, short stories, classics and Historical Fiction.
By Format, I read 4.5 Audiobooks, 3 paperbacks, 3.5 eARC/eBooks and 2 Comic/Graphic Novel.
The average rating was 3.9/5 Stars for all of the books that I read in January.

I’ve read some great books this month, but the ‘Books of the Month’ for January were…
These Rebel Waves by Sara Raasch/Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi
I told you I had quite a strong reading month. I think this is probably why I actually feel like February wasn’t as strong. I know realistically I always start the year well. There are lots of readathons, everyone is feeling the January Blues and financial hardships and so we cut back and stay in. It’s cold and dark, so it’s much more enjoyable to curl up with a good book. And it shows, I read a lot, I read diversely, and I read with others, all of which was awesome.
How has 2019 gone for you so far? What did you read?
Have you read any of these books? What did you think?
