T5W: Favourite Cosplay

Hello princes and princesses, I’m currently in Disney World having a magical time! It’s a bit hot too dress up here but that’s not stopping the hoards of Halloween obsessives from dressing up in any manner of weird and wonderful costumes. Speaking of, this week’s topic is a pretty cool Halloween but not actually Halloween topic, it’s all about dressing up and Cosplay. I’ve never really taken part in any Cosplay etc. if I am being honest, but, I love admiring the incredible outfits that people come up with and so with that in mind, check out my list of 5 favourite Cosplay ideas.

Merida from Brave

This film was the film that made me really quite like the stuff that Disney Pixar put out. Merida is awesome and sassy and yep, you guessed it, pretty damn brave. She has crazy red hair and wears awesome green and I love her.

Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland

This is specifically the Johnny Depp imagining of this crazy character. I love the eclectic look even though I don’t love the character. It’s also another awesome red haired character to play dress up as.

Mrs. Weasley from Harry Potter

As a red head and Wizarding World lover, I couldn’t really leave off a Weasley, and for me the one I’d like to Cosplay most (actually just be the most) is Molly. She’s the Weasley glue and doesn’t take anyone’s crap, I love her.

Nebula from The Guardian’s of the Galaxy

Slight curveball, but, who doesn’t want to be an ass kicking space dweller who is blue and made of machinery. I feel like this would be a very hard but fulfilling Cosplay.

Mama Imelda from Coco

My recent Disney obsession is this Pixar gem, and as much as she is a slight side character in comparison to many, Mama Imelda is fierce and awesome and has great dresses and headwear. I think it’s a timely one too considering it’s all about Día de los Muertos.

Well there we have it, a Halloween Cosplay themed but not at all spooky post to celebrate the holiday.

What character would you like to Cosplay most?

Have you cosplayed before? If so, who as?
