The summer has most definitely disappeared. The temperatures have really plummeted, the leaves are changing colour, and pumpkin spiced lattes are very much a go. I love this time of year, autumn is most definitely my favourite season, and this fall I plan to make some headway on as many reading challenges for Book Riot Read Harder and Around the Year Challenges as I can. I feel like September wasn’t the best for me in any sense (holiday aside, the holiday was amazing), but I have managed to shift a couple of book bogeys from my shelf and read another two NetGalley ARCS.
In September, I read 5 books, which is 1468 pages, and all of which are new reads to me.
I read 5 fiction books, a mix of Children’s, YA, Fantasy, Comics/Graphic Novels and Thriller.
By Format, I read 2 Audiobooks, 1 Paperback, 1 Comic/Graphic Novel and 1 E-Book/ARC.
The average rating was 4.2/5 Stars for all of the books that I read in September.

I’ve read some good books this month, but the ‘Book of the Month’ for September is…
City of Ghosts by V E Schwab
September has been a little bit of a quiet reading month. There have been a few new releases which I have been super excited about, and one of those turned out to be my favourite book of the month, but other than that these bookish excitements, it’s not been a stellar month on any front. I don’t think I can quite say I have been in a slump, but I have definitely spent more time watching TV this month than I have reading. I’m a little out of the reading habit, so I’m hoping to spend the afternoons I have spare after my early shifts reading!
I’m ready for a book filled October, are you?
How has your September gone? What did you read?
Have you read any of these books? What did you think?
Congrats on reading so many pages last month! My reading month was great as well, I read three books which is an okay number but most of them were just meh. Hope to read more amazing books this month 🙂
