Guess who is back in the game? This girl! It has been a pretty stellar reading month by all accounts, my reading slump is officially over, and I feel good about it. MarvelAThon came at a perfect time and really encourage me to read a few more books than I might have otherwise. I read a wide range of genres and authors, started listening to audiobooks in the car again, and fell in love with reading all over again. It is still proving a little difficult to knock off challenges, but I am starting to think more about them again, and have managed to cross a couple off both lists, and somehow I still haven’t re-read a book yet*.
In June, I read 15 books, which is 4456 pages, and all of which are new reads to me*.
I read 1 non-fiction, 1 poetry collection, and 15 fiction books, a mix of Romance, Sci-Fi, Illustrated Children’s, Social Science, Children’s, YA, Dystopian, Fantasy, Classics and modern classic.
By Format, I read 2 Audiobooks, 7 Paperbacks, 1 E-Book, 1 Comic/Graphic Novel and 4 Hardbacks.
The average rating was 4.2/5 Stars for all of the books that I read in June.
(*I have never read the illustrated version of Harry Potter before)

I really couldn’t split two of the books I read this month, so the ‘Books of the Month’ for June are…
Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch and Vicious by V E Schwab
15 books and some really good stories, let’s be honest here, June was a pretty great reading month. And this summer of reading is only just getting started, there are lots of readathons and readalongs that I am taking part in over the coming months (such as Tome Topple and The Full Monte) which will hopefully keep me engaged and allow me to shift some of the books I have had on my shelves for a long time.
I’m ready for a book filled July, are you?
How has your June gone? What did you read?
Have you read any of these books? What did you think?
I read Saga in June too! It was so good 🙂

I loved it. The next few volumes are definitely going to be challenge fillers over the next few months!!
