I’m back folks, I am back. For the first time since I’ve been doing this thing I missed a week. I have been really struggling with blogging of late, and last weekend I was a bit under the weather and just didn’t get around to posting. This week hasn’t been that much better really if I am telling the truth, so this will be a short one.

Well, it’s been a bit of a rubbish 2 weeks healthwise. I’ve found dieting really struggling and if I am being honest have completely fallen off the wagon. Between coming on, catching a stomach bug last weekend, and having huge problems with my ears this weekend, doing things like eating healthily, cooking healthy food, exercising, and doing much more than sitting at home feeling sorry for myself. OK, two of the things passed quickly, or are pretty standard in the life of a woman, but my ears are not. I have impaired hearing in one, ringing, and earache and to say it is bugging me and causing me discomfort is an understatement!
The weather over the past two weeks has been pretty amazing. It’s been a pleasant separation from the health problems, and has seen us have our first BBQ and has allowed me to get outside for a couple of walks. OK, so I haven’t really felt well enough to do absolutely loads, but I have managed to do all the pot plants and de-weed the garden, and actually started to think about what the yard looks like. It’s a shame the sun doesn’t get on it, because it could look alright in the back if we painted it a little bit and got a few more pot plants.
I had a lunch date with a friend from work the other day who as started Slimming World. I don’t love the idea personally, but I do want to revamp this diet I am on because it has completely stalled. It’s a bank holiday and the Champions League final this weekend, so it’s not a good weekend to start anything, so next week I am planning to trial shaking things up and cutting stuff out again in an attempt to kick start more weight loss. I am also hoping and praying that my ear stops misbehaving and I start to feel better so I can start exercising again!
Last week, in more positive news, we also had a busy week. We went to see Deadpool 2 in the cinema, which was hilarious and brilliant as expected. We decided that we had time to squeeze in some food so we headed back to one of our new favourites Bakchich. We also went to see comedian Dara O’Briain live at the Liverpool Empire following another amazing dinner at Wahaca. The whole night was just unreal, the food was awesome, and the show was absolutely brilliant. He was on top form, definitely worth going to see!

To be honest, this wasn’t as bad as I feared it might be given how little I have done over the last 10 days exercise wise. I am hoping for a successful weekend for the Reds in Kiev, for my ears to go back to normal and give my hearing back, and for my diet to restart properly again. We’ll see.
