It’s Day 3 of this thing which means tomorrow we are actually half way and that fact is scaring me a little bit, I don’t want to lie to you guys!! I am off work today (I’m not sick of anything, I am working the weekend so I have today off instead) so I am going to try and get some hard reading done. I haven’t held any twitter sprints this time round, but that might change tonight. I have some free time later, so if you’re around and fancy a reading buddy…
I’m also a Bout of Books expert, here to help the lovely ladies at Bout of Books with all your readathon related enquiries, and to offer all round support and help for the readathon! So please, comment on my updates, and tweet me here!
10:30am: I had a lie in this morning and it was absolutely delightful. I slept a little better last night and even though my eyes and nose are funny again from the hayfever I seem to have developed this year, I am feeling a little more alive. I am taking my Gran to the local garden centre for lunch, so I am going to see if I can squeeze in a little more reading before I go.
11:15am: So I’ve taken my challenge picture and put it on Instagram, I’ll need to update the challenge section in a little bit. It was a good one today!
14:00pm: I took my Gran to the local garden centre for lunch and a small shop today which was nice. The weather is starting to improve and the plants were out and the whole thing was lovely. I haven’t spent much time with her recently so it was nice to do something together! I got some fancy jam and some bedding plants, I really need to sort out Barry the Hanging basket because he is looking a little dead!! In other news, my parents have floated the idea of going to Russia next year, and after a few minutes it has escalated to a multi city journey that starts in Moscow, goes to St. Petersburg and finishes in Tallinn, Estonia. You can see where I get it from.
16:30pm: I texted Emma about an hour/90 mins ago saying Deadpool 2 was out and suddenly out quiet evening of reading has dissolved into a Bakchich tea and a trip to the cinema. I’m quite excited though, for both. I love Bakchich and I’ve been waiting for Deadpool 2 for ages!!
21:45pm: The food was incredible, as always. I have shawarma and falafel and hummus and it was just amazing. Turns out I adore middle eastern food. Deadpool 2 was also pretty funny. It wasn’t as good as the first but then sequels hardly ever are, but it was funny and ridiculous. I was sat next to a Spanish set of friends and was a little depressed that they could understand it completely in a second language but couldn’t help smiling at how hilarious he found it.
